Startup Consulting at Cornell features students across majors and departments who are interested in consulting and entrepreneurship. Through New Member Education, even our newest members are prepared to work with clients and build skills through each engagement.
We are deeply committed to fostering meaningful change through our client engagements. SCC teams prioritize effective communication and creativity to craft distinctive solutions and valuable outcomes. Beginning with defining problems and conceptualizing frameworks, and concluding with well-supported conclusions derived from thorough research and analysis, the SCC approach is both efficient and structured. Our track record of successful projects across many industries and geographies is a testament to SCC’s unique ability to deliver client impact.
SCC has helped its clients, from a diverse array of startups, solve a variety of business challenges, from market entry to competitive landscaping to advertising strategy. Our team is equipped with professional backgrounds and alumni connections within top private and public sector firms globally.
SCC engagements with clients typically run for one academic semester (10-12 weeks). Each project team consists of one Project Manager (PM) and four to five Analysts. Each project completes two presentations given to the client and the club members separately, during the middle and end of the semester. The amount of deliverables is variable and is to be decided mutually by both the client and the PM. SCC takes confidentiality very seriously and is willing to sign NDAs if requested. The presentations given to the club will not contain confidential information that was on the original presentation given to the client.
In the past, we have partnered with several accelerators, venture capital funds, and startups directly. For any collaborative opportunities, please reach out to Brayden Berwin (VP Corporate Relations) at [email protected]. You may also contact [email protected].
